3
North Shore
North Shore is a large stretch of sand and beach. The name North Shore is spoken in the same sentence as surfing. To get there? Drive thru Wahiawa. Once over the quaint bridge you enter a different Oahu. The scattering pineapple fields, coffee orchards, red volcanic dirt and as you drive on to take in the sky as it opens up into the Pacific Ocean. The ocean awaits you with the suggestion of sea mist from pounding waves.
4
Nu’uanu Pali
The Pali Lookout is a site of deep historical significance. Named “Pali” meaning "cliff" in Hawaiian, the Pali Lookout is the site of the Battle of Nuuanu, where in 1795 King Kamehameha I won the struggle that finally united Oahu under his rule. This fierce battle claimed hundreds of soldiers’ lives, many of which were forced off of the Pali’s sheer cliffs. Note that the Pali Lookout is also known for its strong and howling winds. You’ll understand why the Nuuanu Pali Lookout is one of Oahu’s best scenic points when you feel the wind push up against you, hear the winds whistle through the mountains and see the breathtaking views of Oahu’s lush Windward Coast.

Ehukai Beach Park (view panorama) on Oahu's North Shore is a daredevil's dream, with waves reaching heights of over 30 feet (9 m) during the winter months (November to February). It's no wonder the beach is one of the most famous surf spots in the world - and as you might expect, also one of the most dangerous.

First ask for the best guide ever... SEAN! Then prepare for the most wonderful Oahu day trip ever. Eventhough we have another week in Oahu, we already know that this day will be the highlight of our trip. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. We learned so much. Hawaii's history, Polynesian history, WW2 exactly where the planes flew in that bomb Pearl Harbour. Visited movie filming sites. Oahu's majestic ocean and mountain scenery. The food... Sean got us to eat raw tuna... It was delicious. There's so much that we learned and experienced that its not enough space here to say. We think Sean's knowledge, love and respect for his home is what made this trip so special for us. Words cannot express. Wish we could multiply the stars.

From the minute we were punctually picked up- Sean started to point out and explain the history of Hawaii and explained to us how it became part of the US. His knowledge was boundless! Our objective is our tour was to see things off the best hen path since we have been visiting HI for many years. Oahu has so much to offer and we wanted to see more as a local wood. He took us to beautiful beaches that were hardly visited and no crowds. Took us to monuments, look out points and really good local food stops. If you want a great day book away. Highly recommend!

We booked the full island circle tour and was lucky enough to get Matt Cooper as our tour guide. He was brilliant with our six year old son(who can be bloody annoying) and took us to some spectacular spots around the island. The lunch we had at his recommendation was brilliant too! Ending with a stop at a small local brewery which was fantastic. Anyone looking to book here should definitely book it and ask for Matt!!
