My Daughter-in-Law planned a trip to Sedona, AZ. This was our Thanksgiving morning activity (who can say this is how they spent Thanksgiving morning?) .
We did the 3-hour Outlaw Trail.
When we approached the jeep, the driver wanted to make sure my husband and I (70+) understood what the excursion was like (not for the faint at heart).
Life is short, and hey how bad could it be? Joe was our driver and it was such a fun ride. I have not seen my Granddaughter smile and laugh like this in 2 years! Yes it was somewhat rough... but I have not laughed this hard in a LONG time. We saw things we would not be able to see without hiking. Joe, our driver and tour guide, was very informative!
Hint... my young grandson who loves adventure rode in the very back of the jeep and I, who prefer not quite that level of adventure, sat in the front. HE had a blast, going over boulders he was lifted off his seat (YES seat belts are required!)! And yes, i was jostled... and if you don't tighten your seatbelt you could end up on the floor!
I highly recommend this adventure and I recommend Joe as a guide!
Some people our age might want calmer tour, but I would not have missed this for anything!
