What To Expect
1
Chapel of the Holy Cross
The chapel was inspired and commissioned by local rancher and sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude, who had been inspired in 1932 by the newly constructed Empire State Building to build such a church. After an attempt to do so in Budapest, Hungary (with the help of Lloyd Wright, son of architect Frank Lloyd Wright) was aborted due to the outbreak of World War II, she decided to build the church in her native region.
2
Cathedral Rock
Cathedral Rock is a natural landmark on the Sedona, Arizona skyline, and is one of the most-photographed sights in Arizona, USA.[3] Cathedral Rock is located in the Coconino National Forest in Yavapai County, about a mile (1.6 km) west of Arizona Route 179, and about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south of the "Y" intersection of Routes 179 and 89A in uptown Sedona. The summit elevation of Cathedral Rock is 4,967 feet (1,514 m).
3
Bell Rock
Bell Rock is a popular tourist attraction just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, south of Sedona in Yavapai County. With an elevation at its summit of 4,919 feet (1,499 m), it is just west of Courthouse Butte. Geologically, Bell Rock is a butte, composed of horizontally bedded sedimentary rock of the Permian Supai Formation.
4
Oak Creek Canyon
Oak Creek Canyon is a river gorge located in northern Arizona between the cities of Flagstaff and Sedona. The canyon is often described as a smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon because of its scenic beauty. State Route 89A enters the canyon on its north end via a series of hairpin turns before traversing the bottom of the canyon for about 13 miles (21 km) until the highway enters the town of Sedona. The Oak Creek Canyon ā€“ Sedona area is second only to Grand Canyon as the most popular tourist destination in Arizona.
5
Sedona Airport Overlook
The vistas are breathtaking from this mesa of red rock formations like "Coffee Pot", "Submarine Rock" and "Thunder Mountain". Take lots of memorable pictures!

We decided to do the Sedona Half Day tour as this was our first time in Sedona. Our guide was Dennis and he was great! We stopped at Cathedral Rock, Boynton Canyon and Airport Mesa and took awesome pictures. We went to Village of Oak Creek, West Sedona and Uptown. Dennis even showed us the local wineries. It was a super way to become familiar with the area. Would highly recommend.

Our guide, Dennis was very informative, but lacked knowledge regarding Sedona. It was our first time to Sedona and we just wanted to see the highlights that were listed in this tour. We did not get to all the points listed in the tour. This was disappointing. It was unfortunate is was his first day doing this tour. We missed out and are disappointed. We cannot recommend this tour.

We are sorry you were not completely satisfied with this excursion. Speaking with Dennis it was determined that due to the enormous amount of traffic he was unable to reach all destinations in the time allowed. Although new to us he had done tours in this area for years!!

My husband and I had only 2 full days in Sedona and wanted to hit all the highlights. Ken picked us up in a beautiful Escalade that had plenty of cold bottled water and a variety of snacks. He proceeded to take us on a magical 4 hour tour of the tops sights in Sedona. He's so knowledgably (he's a local for many years) and took us to a few of his insider places that few know about. We captured some beautiful shots and have memories that we will cherish. We plan to come back and will ask for Ken again with out a doubt!
