Some say you'll feel a physical sensation on your skin when you visit a vortex, or perhaps you'll suddenly feel enlightened. Or, maybe nothing at all — just find out for yourself!
You'll learn about the discovery of the site(s) and hear about their history of mysticism. Limited to 8-10 people, this tour provides a small-group experience.

This is a WALKING tour and guests are REQUIRED to be able to walk for approximately 1 mile on uneven terrain.

Our tour guide, CK is very kind, informative and knowledgeable! We enjoyed our tour despite not being able to visit some of the off road locations! We have learned so much about the vortex and we will definitely come back!

We had the 8:00 am tour and arrived early. We had a chance to walk around the town a bit. The public restrooms are across the street and I strongly advise that you take care of business before the tour starts. We met our tour guide, Joe, who explained that due to the area wildfires causing the forest to be closed to ALL activity, he was modifying the trip. All seven people on our jeep were good with his recommendations. We first went to the "practice" vortex seen in the picture, where Joe explained how a vortex works. We all were able to use the divining rods and also experienced an exercise where we could feel the energy in our hands. We visited the Buddhist Stupa, where Joe explained Buddhism. He told us that he had some religion classes in college, so had academic knowledge of Buddism. We then headed up Oak Creek Canyon to the Mogollon Rim. What a beautiful trip with Joe explaining what we saw along the way. AZ Safari Jeep Tours had just upgraded their Jeep fleet to new vehicles. The seats had great cushions and the ride was very comfortable, despite sitting sideways. Joe explained that had we been able to enter the forest, the new Jeep's suspension would have been superb on the back roads. Joe's knowledge was fantastic and I definitely recommend him and this family owned business.
