Arizona Safari Jeep Tours
Your tour starts in central Sedona where you'll meet your experienced guide and venture off to the area's extraordinary vortex sites. Your exact tour itinerary will vary based on your interests, so be sure to tell your guide if there's something particular you want to see. By Jeep, head into the desert to the first vortex, where you'll learn how in 1981 medium Page Bryant identified these power grid sites, which have defied explanation for years. As you visit multiple vortexes, you may start to understand why people from all walks of life have traveled here for enlightening experiences. Feel the power of each site as you hear about its history, learn about the cultural beliefs that surround it and think about its spiritual possibilities. Discover how the vortexes connect Chinese medicine, American Indian lore and New Age Mysticism, and hear theories about how vortexes affect Earth. Keep an open mind and let loose your skeptical, academic and adventurous sides in order to make the most of your experience and find out if the vortexes hold something special for you. Perhaps you'll end your tour back in Sedona feeling either enlightened or just happy to have gained a new perspective on the planet.

We had Captain Jack as our tour guide for the sunset tour. He did a great job. He was knowledgeable and really helped us to understand and experience the vortex phenomenon. If you think this is all woo-woo, you may find its actually more. If you are open and willing to learn and experience something unique; then do it. Much of the time is spent at Amitabha Stupa. We would not have had the experience we had without Captain Jack's help. We then went off to Rachel's Knoll. This is a fantastic location if you go for no other reason than to see and experience the beauty. Captain Jack gave us locations and names of other vortices in the area which we have begun to follow through on. This trip was better than my expectations.

Our guide, Michael, was wonderful. In addition to showing us vortexes, he provided tips on hiking trails and other sites.

This is not a vortex tour where you're forced to meditate or pretend to feel energy. It was perfect for what I wanted to learn. Doc told us all about how the vortices began and how they've been studied over time. He let us all use dousing rods to find water beneath the earth. Took us a little off road to a really special place. He knew so much about Sedona, the vegetation and animals, and Native American history. I don't think there was a question he couldn't answer, and we all had plenty of questions. Doc knows his stuff, and it's obvious he loves where he lives, he has a passion for sharing his knowledge and that made it really special. He even gave us some restaurant recommendations on the way back - it was truly a great tour.
