Mike was very helpful and clearly explained the route and how to navigate the tides. It took few minutes to get all setup, super easy and friendly. The full self-guided tour will take about 2hrs, and rowing in the heat of the morning requires you to be in decent physical shape. Did not see manatees or dolphins, but the experience was great regardless. Mike explained where wildlife can be seen. No danger of alligators, according to them.

Thanks for the five star review! Good to hear Mike handled everything for your self guided rental. Sorry you didnā€™t see any wildlife but you just never know when they will make an appearance. We hope to get you out on the water again next time you are in the area.

Husband and I rented a double kayak for 2 hours on 9/17 after reserving online the day before. Single kayaks were booked. Launched into a very shallow mangrove waterway and paddled about 15 minutes to reach a beach area (no facilities - just a stopping point). Decided not to go further into more open/deeper waters and Estero Bay, but if you want to possibly see dolphins or more than pelicans, other birds and minnows, you would have to go further as the water was no more than 6 feet deep along the way and inches in many places and was brown and murky (nothing wrong with that, but not able to see much). The young man who got us set up took his time to show us the waterway map and give us some pointers on paddling. Next time, we'll venture further to make the most of it and the cost.

Thank you for the five star review. Water clarity does depend on what the tides are doing so next time you come out maybe it will be better. Definitely explore more as we have a lot to see in our little slice of paradise. Thanks for choosing Paddle Naples!
