All kayakers must be capable swimmers in case of emergency.

Subject to favorable weather conditions. 100% refund if cancellation prior to 24 hours before start of tour. If we cancel your tour due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. We do not cancel for light rain unless temperatures are less than 60*, and in that case you will be given the option of rescheduling or cancelling or doing the tour at the scheduled time if you choose.
Although provided, you may bring water and snacks, if desired. We definitely recommend sunblock! You may also want to bring a change of clothes or wear swimwear.
Kayakers must be willing to step in approximately six inches of water to enter and exit the kayak.
Recommended for ages 4 years old and up. Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.

We had a wonderful time. The kayaks were very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Lofton Creek is very pretty and serene. We even saw a small alligator. We will definitely do this again. Highly recommend for a family day out.

My friend and I went on a self-guided kayak tour recently and had a great time. The river & surrounding scenery were peaceful and relaxing in the AM, although going against the current in a tandem was no joke! The kayak was clean, snacks/drinks were provided, and the owner was waiting to help us dock when we returned from our trip. At some point on the journey, I lost something in the kayak. When I realized this several hours later, I called the owner. They immediately checked the kayaks and found the missing item, then offered to meet me near the restaurant where we were dining out that night to return it. Their willingness to go above and beyond for a customer is truly appreciated.
