All kayakers must be capable swimmers in case of emergency.
Provide your email upon booking.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. 100% refund if cancellation prior to 24 hours before start of tour. If we cancel your tour due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. We do not cancel for light rain unless temperatures are less than 60*, and in that case you will be given the option of rescheduling or cancelling or doing the tour at the scheduled time if you choose.
You may bring water and snacks, if desired. We definitely recommend sunblock! You may also want to bring a change of clothes or wear swimwear.
Kayakers must be willing to step in approximately six inches of water to enter and exit the kayak.
Recommended for ages 4 years old and up. Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Sheri helped us with everything we needed for a self-guided tour of Lofton Creek. Kayaks were great, the mini lesson helped us feel more comfortable and the area was stunning. Just enough other folks out on the water to share the sights. Will do it again with Amelia Island Adventures.

Purchased a Groupon for a kayak rental for two and got to rent almost the same day! Shari had a bubbly personality and the whole experience went extremely well! The kayaks were in great shape and very comfortable more so than kayaks I've rented from other places! The fact that the kayaks were clean and comfy made this experience better than some the kayak rentals I've had from other companies in the past! We went kayaking on Lofton Creek and the waters were calm and perfect for kayaking. The short drive from Jacksonville was totally worth it! Will most likely rent from Amelia Island Adventures.

our tour guide was Shari was awesome. we had a group of 6 "middle aged" people, with various stages of kayak experience. the kayaking was relaxing and the scenery beautiful. We went to a remote beach for hiking. Shari our guide was knowledgeable and respectful of the area. We kayaked back and had a relaxing picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty. It was a stress free, relaxing day. I highly reccommed this for a get away with friends or a family outing.
