French Huguenot Church
We wills top by the church but not go in. You'll hear the story of their persecution in France and how they fled to the new world.

Shouldā€™ve been instructions to download before we left. Impossible to download. We are locals but thought weā€™d get a more in-depth visit doing it on our own. Took about a half hour to get it to work. unable to get it on my phone so we only had one phone working after paying for two. By the time we got it to work, we went into Bumpaā€™s, had a cocktail and escaped the heat.

Having lived in .Charleston at one time, I was so appalled at the fake southern accent used during the tour. I certainly think it is a disservice to Charleston.

The African American narrator we choose has a unique voice that many say they love, and we choose it as the story of the French Quarter is also the story of slavery, as you saw the Old Slave Mart and heard the history of slavery on the tour, and It may come as a surprise but at one point as many as 40% of the slaves that entered the United States came through Charleston, which you learned on the tour. We are sorry you did not like his voice and you were 'appalled' that his southern accent was not like the accent you preferred. His accent is in fact southern. And we like it. All of our tours have unique narrators to tell the story of the city when you take the tour. We, and 1000's of others, like his voice and accent. As we do all the narrators we use.
