What To Expect

Seven Three Distilling Co.

Join us for a distillery tour and learn about craft distillation, artisanal spirits and the history of our storied neighborhood. Whether you’re a NOLA local, a day-tripper or visiting from far and wide, we can’t think of a more pleasant way to enjoy an afternoon with friends. The 45-minute tour begins with the intriguing history and tradition of distilling in New Orleans. Learn how distillation evolved along with the other pleasures that made this wonderful city famous, and absorb the history of our celebrated neighborhood, Old Treme. Tour our production area, where you’ll get to sample our offerings while enjoying an overview of our process and equipment, learn exactly what goes into making each bottle of fine spirits, and get up close and personal with our mash tun, bottling line and unique, and custom-built double pot still.

Bartender guide was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Fave distillery for sure. They did a great job with sampling some excellent spirits and showing their very local, small craft operation. Highly recommend for a change of pace.

What an awesome new spot in Treme! We signed up for the spirit tasting, which was totally worth the $15. Let's get started... Tour: Nicole was our guide. Very spunky and made our experience so fun! Although the place was pretty compact, we still got so much from the tour. You learn everything from the meaning of the company name to the labels on the bourbon barrels. For your complimentary drink at the end, I suggest the pear vodka mix. We all agreed that it tasted like fresh pears being juiced. Careful drinking too fast, because the vodka will sneak up on you! Atmosphere: Industrial loft-style distillery that stays pretty chilly (bring a sweater just in case). Beautifully set up and everything in the gift shop area is labeled with pricing so you know exactly how much you will spend for souvenirs. The rum was great (can't remember which one it was. Sorry!) Overall experience: LOVED IT! The spirits had such unique tastes, the place is very aesthetically pleasing, and the location is easy to get to. Right down the street from Canal Street so that you can get good food. (I'd recommend Who Dat. The wings are crazy good!!) Would I recommend? We already have. Will I be back? Most likely, just with a much larger group.

The spirit samplings were great conversation starters. I also enjoyed the art work in the store and bar. It was a nice experience.
