Duel was an outstanding guide! He is so knowledgeable and interesting. The tour was packed with a variety of culinary treats along the way. It was so much fun and exceeded our expectations! Duel’s southern hospitality was spot on! Who knew Pensacola had such a long history and culinary scene. We need to come back for more!

Positives: The guy knows his history. He's personable and enthusiastic and he likes his job. Most of the food we sampled was great. Fun and vibrant downtown street was a great way to get to know Pensacola. Easy to walk around and enjoy the ambience. Discovered some very good restaurants we'd like to revisit for a meal. Ways to improve: Less history talk - too many long and detailed stories. Keep it short and sweet! Food portions were inadequate. This was the 1st time we went out to eat after we took a food tour. For the price of the tour, we expected more tastings or at least larger portions. The sample from the food truck was dry and cold - like it was leftover from the dinner hour. There is room for improvement. This tour could be top-notched. I hope the guide will take some of the reviews under consideration. It's a perfect area for a food tour. Who knew Pensacola was such a foodie town?

The experience was more good than not. One of the restaurants(food truck) was closed when we got there but that really wasn’t that big of a deal-I was ready to go by then. The last stop Was a candy store that gave us a decent goodie bag so we just grabbed it and left. The first three stops were cool-the sampler item they gave us at those places was great! It was a lot of history that was thrown at us…I mean a lot and I am a history buff. It was a neat thing-I had never been to downtown so that was the best part! I wouldn’t do it again because it is kinda pricey.

Thank you for your thoughts. I apologize about the food truck. We are working on revising our restaurants for a more reliable tour.
