Sitting atop what was once a cemetery, this former cooperage operated as a speakeasy and brothel during Prohibition under the ownership of the legendary Capone brothers. In the 1990's, It was an occasional haunt of infamous serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.

Shakers Cigar Bar

Voted one of the FIVE most haunted bars in the entire nation, Shakers Original Ghost Tour lets you take an uneasy glimpse into the establishment's sordid past. This tour takes you through every floor of our historical establishment - our main floor, the cellar basement, and the two upper floors. Once home to a cemetery, speakeasy, and brothel, Shaker's walls DO talk - and the tales they tell aren't always pretty. - 60 minutes. Indoors. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before tour start time.

Horrible staff they also try to sell you on a 2.0 tour that’s double the price and the same exact tour as the regular one…. Don’t waste your money or time

Enjoyable and entertaining tour, a few hair raising stories. Tour guide very knowledgeable and entertaining, will recommend this tour to anyone. Will do it again!!! Our group was from Iowa and Texas, annual trip each year, and Milwaukee was picked this year, this tour was the high light of our trip

Elizabeth was so great and a great story teller. She had some really great history facts and it was something fun to do during the week while I was here for training. It ended up being a private tour, but I still enjoyed it and got the chills hearing these ghost tours. I cant wait to come back for another tour in a few weeks with a friend when it will be even more spooky!
