Hop on a cruise to Shell Key Island and see dolphins and other wildlife while snorkeling. At this pristine wildlife preserve, you'll get to snorkel and observe the wildlife, go for a relaxing swim, or just walk along the beach and collect shells. Depending on the time of year, you'll see dolphins in their natural habitat, along with manatees, rays, and wild birds.

All of our rides are semi-private, with a maximum of 6 passengers per boat, so you get to avoid the crowds when you ride with us.

We rode with Captain Tim on the 2-hour tour and all loved it! He knew where to search for dolphins and knew them by name! We even saw baby dolphins! He was knowledgeable about the area and provided anecdotes during the tour. We also saw an osprey with a fish in its talons, a sea turtle and several dolphins. Captain Tim was patient with the never-ending questions my kids asked. On the island, the kids tried snorkeling for the first time and we found many shells. The island is beautiful. One of the highlights of our time here.

We love to take the Island Ferry trip when we visit St Pete Beach. We’ve always seen dolphins and love the trip to shell key. Captain Joe took great care of us and found the dolphins for us.

Captain Tim was great! My husband and our 2 teenage girls had a blast! We saw so many dolphins and enjoyed cruising the bay. Shell beach delivered as well, lots of shells and miles of sandy beach to walk.
