Hop on a cruise to Shell Key Island and see dolphins and other wildlife while snorkeling. At this pristine wildlife preserve, you'll get to snorkel and observe the wildlife, go for a relaxing swim, or just walk along the beach and collect shells. Depending on the time of year, you'll see dolphins in their natural habitat, along with manatees, rays, and wild birds.

All of our rides are semi-private, with a maximum of 6 passengers per boat, so you get to avoid the crowds when you ride with us.

Our guide was amazing and knowledgeable. The water was beautiful and we saw dolphins. The snorkeling was kind of a bust because the water wasn’t clear but we found cool shells. If you’re a veteran, call to get a discount. All in all, it was a great time!

Dolton was our captain, and he was very knowledgeable, down to earth, and genuinely seemed to love the life he lived! There was another ferry that went with us and the 2 ferries created waves together that a mother and baby dolphin swam into! It was a great show, first time ever seeing a dolphin! The snorkeling at the sand bar was amazing also, we collected sand dollars and shells and it was nice because we could go off and explore. We will definitely be going again!

We are so glad we booked our dolphin cruise with snorkeling to Shell Key with Island Ferry. Captain Dalton was awesome and we had a great time. Captain Dalton found dolphins and made my daughter’s vacation! The kids loved the boat ride and the stop at Shell Key to snorkel and look for shells. It was the highlight and best part of our trip to St. Pete! Simply amazing!!!
