Shared 2 Hours Group Surf Lesson in Venice Beach

Overview

We are a surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent experience surfing, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30-40 minutes we will be training on the beach - then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide you.

We’ll be giving lessons on Venice Beach - one of the most famous beaches in California. You’ll be able to not only enjoy the ocean and get surfing experience, but also explore the unique spirit of the eccentric cultural hub of Venice Beach.

Keanu was an excellent guide!!!! We’ve NEVER surfed at all before (we are 48 & 50) and he helped us both catch the waves in the right time!! Thanks, Keanu, for giving us such a fun memory! Tip: bring a towel, wear your swimsuit under your clothes, you put wetsuit on in the parking lot.

This was so much fun!! I went with my friend and it was a little chilly that day so we ended up being the only guests and basically got a private lesson. Despite the weather, it was awesome. They provide wetsuits so we managed to stay warm, and Thiem was a great instructor - very cool guy and super helpful. This was my first time surfing and my friend's second time and we were both able to get up on the boards (my friend was better than me but I digress.) I would definitely recommend this experience if you're new or somewhat new to surfing!
