The Saints & Sinners tour - or as miss Hope explained the ā 1 saint and sinners tourā - was an impressive and informative tour regarding individuals that have helped to form the beautiful crescent throughout its history and heydey. As we are all aware this city is full of debauchery and tradition, Catholicism and Voodoo so this tour ties them all in a giant bow and offers you the chance to explore that exact theme.
Miss Hopeās own individualistic way of storytelling kept everyone enamoured with the mystery, the history, and she always managed to add a heaping helping of (as with any food - or otherwise in New Orleans) sarcasm, irony & humor. Ā She was extremely knowledgeable about New Orleans history answering questions with foresight and pose and she brought the story of New Orleans history to life in the 21st century. She even explained in depth regarding myths of voodoo and helped to explain or break down the religion a bit more than I previously understood.
There is a break in this tour which provides for some rest and relaxation - preferably with a good cocktail in hand. I definitely recommend this tour with French Quarter Phantoms. You will snake through several areas in the French Quarter - especially if unfamiliar - dont miss this.

This was a great 2 hour tour that gave just enough history about New Orleans. Hope was our guide and she is extremely knowledgeable about the city. She covers the evolution of Bourbon St, the prostitution trade, voodooism as well as some other subjects. She keeps the tour interesting. Very interactive in that she continually asked if anyone had any questions. As for Phantom Tours we were well pleased. Booked two different tours (Cemetery was the other) and both were great. Can't beat the 1/2 price Hurricanes prior to the tour either. It was hot and the guides did a great job of finding us shade when we had to stop so they could talk to us. Many tour companies in NOLA but I would definitely recommend Phantom.
