Learning the history of Ybor City from Max Herman was a great experience. He is both extremely knowledgeable and a consumate story-teller. We are recommending him to our friends who live in Sarasota.

We took the Ybor City Historical Walking Tour with Tom as our guide. He was a great story teller and we all enjoyed the whole experience. Lonnie did a great job arranging the whole thing and was very good to work with. We especially liked seeing inside one of the clubs and would have liked to see more interiors. It would be nice to see a working cigar factory but unfortunately that is in the past. The little park dedicated to Cuba really needs to be fixed up. New flags, grass and lots of plants native to Cuba would be a big improvement. That is not the responsibility of the tour company. A charming historical place with a very interesting past.

Our family did a walking tour with Ybor City Historic Waking Tours with Max Herman as our guide. I would give him ten (10) stars if I could! What an amazing tour. Max was funny, engaging, full of fun facts and tidbits about the area that we NEVER would have picked up on had we just walked around the area on our own. It was money well spent and made for a memorable part of our trip. The teens still talk about it! Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area.
