Max did a phantastic job. He excellently told the story around people, business, society and politics of 19th and 20th century. We got a clear picture of the evolution of Ybors Life and cigar Business. He is very knowledgable and understands very good to get guests interest. He is friendly and speaks a very good and clean english.

My wife, 25 yr old daughter, her boyfriend, and I did this tour on Wed Dec 29th, 2021. Max was our tour guide. I had done a Segway tour several years ago, but this was much better. I like the walking better and Max was phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgeable and just an incredible storyteller. The history of Ybor and the stories are so interesting and he does them justice. I highly recommend this tour.

I've been on many walking tours throughout the states. Weird that the best one that I've ever been on was right here in my hometown of Tampa. Max did a great job filling in the blanks for a lot of historical aspects of Tampa/Ybor that I never knew. From his extensive knowledge of the cigar industry trade, to the city's pivotal role in sparking the Cuban Revolution, even down to the intricacies of our proud Cuban Sandwich and how its ingredients symbolizes the cultural melting pot that still very much exists in our town today. An obvious history buff and infectiously charismatic, I have no doubt most people would enjoy this tour, whether you're visiting our city or you're a homegrown native like me.
