Charlie’s a fifth generation Ybor resident who seems to know everything about the neighborhood. We entered the Cuban Social Club building and he brought the past of the social club to life. Other descriptions were the 7th Ave in the past, the rise and fall of the cigar industry, Jose Marti’s time in Ybor, and urban ‘renewal’. Much more. Lively and vivid.
