This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Key West

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

I did this trip on my 21st birthday and really enjoyed it! I've come back 5 years later and just did this again in January and it was better then I remember! The information they give you is awesome, I'm an active shark lover and I was still learning things from the captain and Clay since they've had hands on experiences for years. They make sure everyone has a great view of the animals and make the experience great. I would definitely do this again and recommend to anyone!

We went for my sons 10th birthday because he LOVES sharks! Needless to say he was not disappointed! Even when we were on the dock one of the gentlemen showed him a Megalodon tooth and let him touch the 5000 yr old piece of history. The trip out to the “back country” was quick and smooth. Once we stopped the sharks came to the boat almost immediately, it was awesome. Great tour, 10 out of 10 would go back. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I came to Key West for a long weekend. It was very windy but the crew were awesome. They even had a sweater for my girlfriend. They were funny and very informative. Just a short ride and the sharks appeared and gave a great show. Saw some dolphin as well. I can’t recommend this trip highly enough. Thanks. Would definitely come back and do this again.
