This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Key West

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

The trip was great! We really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the false advertising. It said that snacks and drinks and sunglasses were offered but only the drinks were. And also the address says Westin resort but apparently it has changed names. But overall we loved it!

Loved this tour! Utterly amazed by how quickly the boat was surrounded by sharks. The sight of the feeding is like no other but also very educational. So cool! I've never seen the water so still as it was that day and there was not a single breeze in sight, was extremenly grateful the for the shade converage provided by the Tiger Cat. Clay was amazing and did his absolute best to spot wildlife I wanted to see, those green sea turtles are just too fast (but that's ok because we planned to go to the turtle hospital the next day)! On the second stop of the tour, they also found a large pod of dolphins (complete with calves) that were very playful and vocal! The first time in 15 years that they have been running the tour that a wild dolphin has made the sound typically heard from those in captivity so just goes to show that you just never know what you might actually get to experience. Highly recommend doing this tour!! I've been home for a week and I can't wait to go again!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE 5 STAR REVIEW! It's nice to be appreciated. You really did experience something unique when that dolphin stuck its head out of the water and vocalized. In 40+ years on the water my brother and I have never heard a dolphin make any noise other than exhaling. Normally that is something that they are trained to do in captivity. You just never know what you'll see on our tour. Hope we see you again soon. Captain Dave

Great adventure. Captain and crew very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. Be ready for an up close and personal look at the shark and dolphins in their ocean home.
