This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Key West

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

Let me just start by saying this experience was truly amazing, it was our first time experiencing sharks in the wild and it has definitely given us both a much more in-depth appreciation for these creatures. The tour guides are extremely knowledgable, helpful and approachable and encourage you to learn and ask questions throughout the tour. From the minute you set off the guides give you with detailed and interesting information on key west wildlife, the sea, the local area and the contents of the tour itself. It is all done in an extremely fun and lighthearted manner and the family who run the tour do their best to make it as fun and enjoyable an experience for each and every person on board. The sharks themselves were amazing, everything you could have asked for on a shark tour - we got some incredible videos of the experience and found it to be an truly amazing thing to witness. The tour guides ensured that everyone on the boat saw the sharks up lose and prior to leaving they even offered to feed them again to ensure everyone got the same experience which I thought was a really nice thing to do. After feeding the sharks the tour then sets off on the search for dolphins and other marine animals, on the day we had the experience it was particularly difficult to find the dolphins however the tour guides ran the tour over out of their own time to ensure the dolphins were found and that everyone had a perfect experience. The family who run the tour genuinely want to give you the best experience possible and it shows with how they are on the tours. Personally we’d have been happy not seeing dolphins at all and feeding sharks for the entire time as it’s such an incredible thing to see! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting key west, and If ever I am back in the area it is something I would happily do again. Thank you both for the experience, it’s much appreciated!

I cannot say enough good things about the father and son that run this tour. They provide so much educational information and they are so attentive to the people aboard the boat. They provide snacks and drinks! We had amazing views of sharks, dolphins, and other marine life. These guys are so nice and laid back. They are also extremely funny. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with them! Plus...they are also family operated...which I love supporting!

I absolutely love sharks and this trip allowed me to see so many lemon sharks up close without having to get into the water. Just brilliant. We were so very well looked after by the crew. Would definitely go on this tour again
