This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. What To Expect

Key West Extreme Adventures Shark Tours

After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.

Key West

Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

Had a ton of fun, lots of sharks and other wildlife. No problem with having enough viewing space. The captain and his crewman(his son) were knowledgeable and great guides. Definitely recommend!

We had so much fun on this tour! I had concerns since we were on a Disney Cruise and I know you can miss the boat if an excursion runs late and you didn’t book through your cruise. Do not be concerned! Their kiosk is on the pier as we disembarked, so very easy to find and literally feet from the ship. We had actually already gotten off to have breakfast and a coffee in Key West. Check in is at 9:30 and we got on the boat at 10. The proprietor and his nephew were very courteous and knowledgable (and the polarized sunglasses they let everyone borrow are very helpful). Water, cokes, juice, and snacks are included. They even had sweatshirts for people that were cold. There is a restroom on board, but we didn’t use it. We were warned girls are typically not pleased with it and pointed to a public restroom nearby prior to boarding. The shark feeding was so super amazing. My kids had been whining about going and not thinking they’d have any fun. They were blown away and giggling, smiling, and laughing the whole feeding! We got plenty of amazing pics and videos. The boat returns to the dock at about noon. Hours before our all aboard time of 3:30. We had plenty of time to eat and shop more on the island. Because you are never dealing with a van/bus transfer, you’re not going to be late for the ship. I would highly recommend this tour even for people fearful of booking on their own/not with their cruise line. It is SO worth it!!

this was a great excursion....these guys were very knowledgeable and fun to be with....snacks and drinks were provided (water, soda, etc) and we all had a good time
