We had a great experience. We intentionally chose the 6:30am time because many reviews said the later times get cancelled due to rough waters, and the crew confirmed this is true. The 2 man crew were great. Nice guys who tried hard to make the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone. The other reviews mentioning sea sickness are true. We took Dramamine and wore wrist bands, and I still got a bit sick, but itās a rough sea, so what do you expect. They rent GoPros for $50. We opted to buy a $130 underwater digital camera to take with us and got good footage. Itās best to take video, would be almost impossible to take still shot photos because the fish and sharks are moving by quickly and the cage rocks around a lot. We only saw a couple of sharks, but was worth it. There is ample parking and bathrooms at the marina where you can change your clothes afterward. Highly recommend this tour!

Aloha! thank you for choosing Hawaii Shark Encounters for your shark diving experience. You guys definitely took the right precautions to avoid sickness and made the right decision to book the earlier tours as it is usually the calmer tours of the day. As for your video package you guys definitely got lucky to have our underwater photographer onboard as is actually rare that she is available to come out. We don't advertise that because we just never know when she is available to hop on seeing that the conditions are a huge factor and her availability from her other duties. We hope to see you again soon! Aloha Hawaii Shark Encounters.
