It was an awesome trip! We were a small group with family of 4 and one other person . They usually only accomodate 6 maximum. We are in the water the whole time till you want yo come out.
Instructions were very clear and they guide you at every step.
The trip to the middle of the ocean is really breathtaking. Since its smaller boats , they remind you if you have sea sickness or motion sicknesd tp take tablets/ medication. My husband has never been sick but felt nauseated. He enjoyed almost the whole time but the water/ waves made him throw up.
Loved the experience as you can watch sharks upclose, its slmost like watch National Geographic but live. My daughter teenager fell in love with the sharks.
I am not much of a great swimmer nor an underwater person so mostly i was on top with my snorkels snd just dipped down holding my breath and trying to breathe with my mouth while i watched these Galapagos sharks which were moving arou d upclose.
Just lusten to the instructors they give you and dont be scared. Its very safe. They guide you every step of the way.
They even took videos from pur phone as pne of the go pros we wanted to tent had some issues with the stick.
My hisband snd kids had no issues getting in and out of the cage but i was a little scared as sometimes the water is not still so itās constantly going up and down and ypu meed to be aware of it. The instructors/ guides were very helpful guiding at every step and ensuring and assuring that i was doing a hood job and iām okay- both of them ladies even when i was climbing up.
I faced my biggest fear- in the ocean with sharks.
I was not at all scared of the sharks.
They educated us making conscious choices while eating seafood to preserve sealife. Very informative!
Totally recommend!
