We were scheduled for the normal Shaxi sunrise tour, but when we arrived in Honolulu we had multiple messages concerning our trip because the next day was the Honolulu half marathon. We were offered numerous accommodations including to do a different day as well as an offer for the same day with a different tour. We took the same day due to scheduling conflicts, and instead of the normal tour they picked us up in a stretch limo and brought us to the East side of the island to see the sunrise and do a hike to the lighthouse. Our guide was Michael and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. An amazing experience. Many thanks for your diligence and flexibility!
