We had a fabulous morning cruising the Gulf on this spacious, beautiful catamaran, seeing dolphins and manatee as we sailed to a deserted island, where we had plenty of time to find beautiful sea shells and explore before jumping back on board and enjoying the humour, professionalism and free beer provided by the great crew!

During our trip to Florida, my children dreamed of finding seashells. I had planned to take them to Sanibel Island but following Hurricane Ian, I was afraid of not finding any shells, so I booked this excursion and I absolutely do not regret it. Of course it's not cheap but it's so worth it. So we left aboard a pontoon boat and the guide took us to the island of Keewaydin which is only accessible by boat. It has two parts, one where people go there to party and the other which is deserted. So we found ourselves on a heavenly white sand beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and we were able to walk the beach looking for shells. My husband, who is not a big fan of seashells, just enjoyed the beach. The water is shallow and without waves, therefore without risk for children. The children found some magnificent shells. They were delighted with their finds. Furthermore, water and drinks were provided so we could refresh ourselves whenever we wanted. On the way back we saw dolphins swimming a few meters from us.
