We went kayaking with the manatees. Steven Denmark was our guide. My husband and I went on this kayaking trip last year and really enjoyed Steven and his dog so we requested him again. This year we took our girls so they could experience it as well. Steven was very informative and answered any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable also. He made it a point to look for animals to point out to us and explain more about them, i.e. blue crab, osprey, Hurricane bird, blue heron, etc. He also explained the footprint of the manatees so we knew what to look for. We saw several, some up close. My family enjoyed it very much.

Mike was wonderful. It was a beautiful day and Mike was a great captain. He was accommodating and friendly and relaxed and knowledgeable. He took us to 2 places, sharing the benefit of each. He found dolphins and birds and shells. All 6 of us had a great time and didn’t want the afternoon to end.
