Our game host Josh was great! The game was super fun and intricate, I can't wait to try out the other games. 10/10 would go again!

On the 20th of April we visited The Escape Effect. We were flying back to Denmark so had a day to spend waiting for take off. We visited The Escape Effect and were greeted warmly, the owners/staff were great and very talkative. The helped us select a room and ended up with the Sherlock Studies. Well made room with great puzzles. As a non-native English speaker I was a bit concerned but it turned out that it wasn't an issue at all. If I revisit the Orlando area I will definitely come back and try out some of the other rooms they offer.

Absolutely LOVE this place! The staff rocks, idk what other people are saying in the reviews...maybe it was an off day or something weird happened that day they visited but our game masters have been amazing, super helpful, attentive.....if you want unattentive game masters...go to Lakeland Escape Room....that will make you change your tune real fast! We have done two rooms so far: Sherlock Studies and Fright Before Your Eyes....both INCREDIBLY themed, highly detailed, super fun puzzles/mysteries to solve, and the story actually made sense unlike other places we have gone to. Can we take a moment to appreciate the HIGH LEVEL of detail Escape Effect designers go through to make these rooms please!?!? I'm talking about the QUALITY of the props/sets, making everything as authentic/genuine as possible, and making you truly escape the real world and immerse you in the room that you signed up for. The story is VERY well thought out, the puzzles make sense and when I say that I mean it even makes sense WHY you are unlocking something or doing something. I've done puzzles where it made zero sense for there to be a lock or riddle in that particular environment. Plus you get so wrapped up in the story, it's like a book that they wrote and brought the story to life for us to experience. Love everything about this place, I wish they had 50 rooms! You will NOT be disappointed, definitely a must visit! Oh and they have really cool souvenirs for purchase, I love collecting the coins :)!
