Suzanne specializes in true vintage but was happy to accommodate me as a teen with a smaller budget looking for some cool thrift finds. She happily spent the afternoon showing me around and I found tons of great pieces within my budget, and got to know a lot more about the city that I wouldn’t have gotten out of any guide book! In addition she left me with a list of other places I could go to as well as all the info for the ones we went to. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and good at her job! 10/10 would recommend!

Dear Miss H, It takes two to tango! And I have to say that you were an amazing young shopper with great style. Not only did you know what you liked when you saw it, but were able to budget your purchases based on your current wardrobe — that takes foresight and thought. You weren't shy to try on pieces that I had suggested, and even purchased a couple of them if I can remember correctly. I had a fun time shopping with you!

Suzanne was amazing. She communicated often two days before the tour, so the details on where to meet was easy to follow. Within ten minutes of talking with her, it was clear that she knew her stuff. More importantly, she listened to us and customized the tour based on what we were interested in. Suzanne was also honest about what looked good and what didn't. Result: fab vintage jewelry, Italian boots and vintage handbag, and a amazing dress from St. John! This was part of a birthday trip for my niece, so Suzanne made sure she got the diva treatment. Our last stop was right up her alley. I much appreciated the personal attention. Would definitely go with Suzanne again next time we need an insider's guide to the city.

Hi Vickie, You have to be the best aunt ever! Her gift from you, to her, visiting New York City was something quite special. A bright memory she will always look back on. Such a lovely time you both must have had together -- I was only happy to have been a part of it. Please keep me in mind for future visits to the city. I would love to shop with the two of you again. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

My boyfriend and I had so much fun with her. She showed us all of these different places that I would never have noticed before and that had really interesting finds. She made the trip enjoyable not only with the places she took us to, but also with fun conversation :). I highly recommend a trip with her. She is an actual New Yorker who can really show you those hidden gems in the city. And... for those of you who are wondering about the $28 Jimmy Choo shoes in the title (I know I would be if I were reading this review)... unfortunately they did not fit me :(. But... it will fit some other incredibly lucky person... and it might just be you lol

Hi Jennifer, As 'black belt' shoppers we know the rules to the game, if the shoe doesn't fit. Shoes are probably the most difficult thing to find second-hand. What you always can do is go to a store where the brand that you want, try them on to see how they fit. Once you know your size sign up for their email and when they go on sale you can always order on line. That's one way of getting what you want at a discount price. Hope to shop with you again on your next visit to New York City. Best to you and your family over the holidays!
