Incredible, productive and super fun morning with Suzanne! Appreciated the overview Suzanne provided before we hit the street. Suzanne did a great job assessing our group of 3 during that time—great intuition and insight! Along with providing us with an amazing guide including close to 80 potential stops, Suzanne figured out where to take us during our opening orientation. Appreciated that we moved quickly between stops but that Suzanna adjusted to allow for the right amount of shopping time at each stop based on our interests. We picked this activity specifically for our teenage daughter who was over the moon with her finds. Her big brother came along just because, but found some retro items that he was thrilled with. Suzanne tuned in to everyone and made the morning extra special.

From beginning to end our experience was fantastic! Meeting up was super easy and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Suzanne was fabulous and we would definitely consider spending more time with her on our next trip. The tour was very well thought out and each store we visited was explained so we knew what to expect before going in. The stores were also great and had lots of variety and great pieces (great prices as well!!) highly recommend for anyone who is an experienced thrift store shopper or someone who has never step foot in a second hand store. No matter you’re level of experience, Suzanne will make sure you are well informed!

It makes me happy to know that you had and enjoyable time shopping with me. I have been in love with shopping from the time I can remember (5 years old)... I love to shop New York's specialty SoHo boutiques, second-hand shops, and our amazing sample sales! New York is the only place you can get this kind of shopping. Please keep my card, and look me up on your next visit to New York City.

Suzanna was very fun but spent a lot of time talking in the beginning, time that could have been used shopping. My cousin was with me and had different interests than myself and Suzanna and she felt like her feelings were ignored. You have to be ready to “hunt” for items and be serious about buckling down and shopping this is not for a casual shopper but one who is ready to put in the time and hard work to find that hidden gem.

You are correct that this shopping day is for women who love second-hand clothing and enjoys the search. Depending upon the group size, I will work with people to help them find things, as I did for you. I found you quite adorable and fun to be around and could have spent the entire day shopping with you but we had to cut it short because of your cousin. The guided shopping day is 3 hours of shopping and 30 minutes of cafe time, totaling 3 1/2 hours. I always spend 20 - 30 minutes at the cafe to discuss the complimentary shopping guide to additional second-hand shops that I give to everyone, as well as to understand their shopping interests. Your cousin never expressed any interests during our meeting. From the time we met at the cafe until the time we departed your cousin engaged in such ungracious abusive behavior towards me. I can’t think of a time that I had been treated so poorly by anyone. She snapped at me in the cafe; never told me what she was interested in shopping for; was extremely dismissive to me at all times - on three occasions she had walked away from me while I was talking to her; not once did she have anything nice to say to me during our time together; I never saw her shopping in any of the stores; she was extremely bossy: twice she had ‘told’ me to go wait on line (once for the dressing room and once for the cashier) and she got very angry when I didn’t comply with her demands. Waiting on lines is not my roll. When I shop with a few persons I pull things for them to help them find things. It’s something I enjoy doing. As a favor to you in this particular store, because the dressing room lines can get long, and you were the only one shopping, and you had more than the number of items allowed into the room at one time, I offered to get on the line once you were inside the dressing room. This way you we could speed up you trying on clothing. While I was pulling clothing for you, you had asked me to help your cousin shop for 80s clothing for an upcoming 80s party. When I finally found your cousin, she was texting on her phone sitting in a corner of the store. I showed her the clothing I had pulled for her she made a face (the same face she was making to me all day) and said ‘no’. I asked her if she would like to try something on and she told me that she didn’t want to try on anything and as long as you were having fun she was fine. I felt we could have had a fabulous time without your cousin.
