So much fun and pleasant guides - they do need to check on patrons more often during the night time ride. My bike stopped the pedal assist and the headlight went out during the night ride- I was left in the dark on the beach for about 1/2 mile at least before the group stopped. The bell on the bike was useless and I was afraid I would hit someone or something on the beach. They should have a better system especially in the dark.

I'm so sorry that you felt left behind during the tour but your review does not paint a complete and accurate depiction of what happened. We typically leave the end of the beach immediately after the flag lowering ceremony, right at sunset. It was at this time that you said you couldn't wait the 15 minutes until we get back so my colleague escorted you off the beach to use the restroom. So the entire group waited for you to return before we embarked. 15 minutes at dusk makes a big difference so now it's pitch dark. Because of this a few of the riders were going very slow, understandably, so I was in the back with them. Alexis was up front to make sure the riders up front didn't go too far and you were somewhere in the middle. There was no malfunctions with your bike it was simply too dark for you to see how to turn your lights on, When Alexis came back to find you, your bike lights came on immediately with no issues. Alexis only told me of this after everyone left so I reached out to you via text apologising that you felt left behind and explained if we left when we were supposed to we would've remained one whole group. You thanked me for reaching out and explained that you were only upset because the other riders, not the guides, passed by you without offering help. When we make a mistake we 100% own up to it but you getting separated was a direct result of you altering our tour schedule so that you could use the restroom. At any rate, if you are unhappy with the experience you had, I would love for you to reach out and let us put you on the schedule on the house, so we can show you what it is supposed to be.
