What an awesome way to see some of the sites around Washington. After a little training on how to use the Segways, it was off to see the sites. Had a great group and Joe as out tour guide was great and knowledgeable. Totally recommend doing this if you have limited time!

Dec 2022
Having ridden Segway kit in several countries and cities around the world, it was surprising that a 2.5 hour tour started with 30 minutes of training. One trainer (the tour guide Joe) was assigned to the group of 9 whilst two other employees remained in the office on their personal electronic devices. As such, some unusual training was taking place that proposed one handed operation, delivered in a more than militaristic manner would put me off going again. The tour guide was short tempered with the training then softened once the tour started. Unfortunately when we happened upon a site his speech delivery was so fast, it was difficult to ascertain much of the detail. At one point we detoured to be able to view an albino squirrel that lived in the park. As such, it was disappointing that not a lot of the historical information was imparted and as such felt little more benefit than when it started as the group dynamic was more ā€˜abuse victimā€™ collective due to the delivery. Apparently we paid for that too . . .
