Very positive experience with local tour group. Vans were nice and clean, guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and tour sites were well chosen. Liked the TOTEM park and visitor center a lot and also the fortress of the bears. I got lots of bear photos. Fortunately the viewing area was partly covered so we were able to get pictures without standing in the rain. Good "bang for the buck".

We have been to Alaska four times but first time to Sitka. We were on a cruise but I always try to book non-cruise affiliated excursions because they are usually less expensive and much better. This tour was one of my favorites because of the quality of our tour guide, her lovely personality and knowledge of the area where she was born and raised. Please remind me of her name. Can't remember and I want to give her kudos for such a wonderful experience. We were on van #3 on 7/16/19 at 12:45 pm. She woke up at 3 am to go fishing with her husband then did our tour. Besides our guides knowledge and personality, my favorite part of the excursion was Fortress of the Bears. They had to drag me out of the building because I could have stayed there all day to watch the bears play. The owners of the company, Bruce and Rhonda were also very friendly and nice to talk to. Highly recommend this tour.

We (extended family from ages 12 -70s) loved this tour! Tour was small and bus/van was comfortable and easy to get in/out on our stops. Lindsay was a great guide: so friendly, made it a point to learn our names, taught us all about local flora and fauna - on land, sea, even in the air (several eagles around). She is knowledgeable and respectful of the local history (per Lindsay, non-natives are not supposed to share the actual stories of the totem poles, etc, but she did inform us on the history). We booked through Costco and were not disappointed. Highly recommend
