We got all the gears rented for ski however when we were going to the put on both of the ski boots to use, the left boots won't fit. For my son both ski boots did not fit at all. We are amateur on this and we should have been fitted correctly from the rental place. We were already far from the rental and paid our all day parking. We ended up not using the gear and returned it in the afternoon. The personnel told me there is nothing they can do since it was a voucher.

While in Tahoe Jack went snow boarding with is nephew Jack Jr. they had a great time. The ease of booking, fittings and skiing were awesome!!!

We have hired our gear from Powderhouse twice over a 5 year period. When looking at hiring gear again we read many reviews and decided to use them as they were the cheapest - compared to the other big players (Heavenly etc). When we arrived to pick up our gear we couldn't believe the attitude of the girl who served us. It is unbelievable why a business would hire people with bad attitudes and poor customer service. The guy who helped fit the boots etc was much better. Hence the 3 star average rating and not a 2 star poor rating. The actual gear was fine - no problems at all. We didn't end up skiing/snowboarding much though as the mountain closed due to high winds and snow storms... There are many smaller rental places around that seem to offer great pricing. I don't know what the quality of their gear is, but might be worth checking out...
