Overview

This museum is all about military history on a personal level and is a collection of military artifacts that I started collecting over 40 years ago. We own many items but the select items we feature in this museum are ones with a story to tell. When our visitors leave the museum, it is our hope that they will have a new found attachment to the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats and medals.

What To Expect

Webb Military Museum

Located in Historic Downtown Savannah, Webb Military Museum features military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm. Original uniforms, headgear, and equipment are displayed in a walk-through setting. The museum honors our servicemen from all wars and branches. Many of the displays contain named groupings of servicemen highlighting their stories of service. A visit to Webb Military Museum will certainly bring back one’s love of history and the realization of how much we owe to our men and women in uniform. ACTIVE MILITARY ARE FREE!

My wife and I travelled together with two other couples to Savannah. During our stay we all decided to go the Webb Military Museum. It was fantastic! Anyone interested in military history will completely enjoy the collection that Gary Webb has put together over his lifetime. In addition to the Gary's collection, his wealth of knowledge is incredible. All three couples totally enjoyed our experience and Gary's willingness to share his knowledge with us. Don't miss this gem if you are in Savannah!

From the outside I wasn't expecting much. The building is an old house barn and it doesn't look very big. Once you step inside, it is amazing the amount of history that fits in the space. There are military items I have never seen in any museum including the Smithsonian's. This is a must see! As a side note.... handicap accessible, and if you're lucky, there is parking directly in front of the building.

We stumbled on this amazing gem in downtown Savannah. Gary, the owner, met us at the front door and brought to life the stories about men and women in the military. He featured authentic military artifacts, equipment, uniforms and weapons. This is a must see for every American as it brings history to life.
