This is an epic American business success story. Interesting for motorcycle enthusiasts as well as everyone interested in the birth of the motorcycle industry in America. The tour is about $20 and you can do it in 60-90 minutes. Nice casual restaurant next door. VictorB

As Harley riders and HOG members from Newfoundland, Canada, my husband and I planned a trip to Milwaukee for the main purpose of visiting the birthplace of the Harley-Davidson - and we were NOT disappointed!!! The museum is huge, and friends of ours who had previously been there recommended the audio tour, which we did. When you arrive at a numbered exhibit, you press that number into your hand-held speaker and listen to the story behind that particular bike. It’s much more interesting than just walking around looking at the displays, because it adds that extra layer to the history of the company. I’ve read many of the less-enthusiastic reviews on here from people who didn’t enjoy it because ‘motorcycles aren’t their thing.’ Well then, why go?? If I don’t like opera, I’m hardly going to make a point of going to a museum about the history of OPERA! If you’re interested in motorcycles and Harleys in particular, this is a must-see for sure. It’s a huge part of American culture and business industry, and there’s a LOT to see here!!!
