If you want to see the costumes worn by the Mardi Gras participants, you will be amazed and thrilled with this museum. From colorful gowns to over the top designs, their is something fun to see around every corner. A quick adventure that is more than worth the minimal admission cost. Visiting Mobile for two days from Plymouth, MA and stumbled across this museum thanks to Emma from the Malaga Inn. I had heard of the Mobile Mardi Gras 35 years ago when I visited New Orleans for the first time but had no idea of the rich history here in Mobile. This museum brings it alive and invites the visitor a close insider's view of this long lasting tradition. A must for anyone visiting Mobile. Toni was terrific too, friendly and informative. She also gave us a great tip to a local happy hour!
