Our museum provides an historical glimpse into our military heritage, with heroic accounts of bravery and sacrifices from those who have fought to maintain our freedom. Our exhibits are well worth a visit with hundreds of genuine artifacts, military relics, photographs and memorable accounts by former soldiers. It is important to point out that this is a museum only in the sense that military items are displayed here. Our main goal is to pay tribute to those who served while preserving our history and reaching out to help educate our youth. We do recognize the future of our great country is in the hands of our future leaders and these leaders are in the classroom today ... Our mission at The Museum of Military History is to educate, increase awareness, build knowledge and understanding of the American military experience through interactive, interpretive exhibits designed for visitors of all ages. Come and visit us! Please call us for groups bigger than 10.

Compact and very interesting museum with lots of exhibits to look at. Also excellent information given by Al who came round with us and talked us through many of the exhibits and items on display, he was fantastic. A very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours

Small by most museum's standards, the MOMH still managed to present a good overall picture of the different US wars by skillful use of pictures, letters, arms, weapons, and videos. A very knowledgeable tour guide was on hand to answer questions. Americans have fought in many wars and this museum did an admirable job in exposing us to all the conflicts. Time was well spent at this attraction.

The museum has some interesting artifacts and historical pieces but the layout is somewhat confusing and the their is little provided to put the collection in context or to present a historical narritive to the displays. Much of the collection is made up of uniforms, personal items, small arms and models. The only military vehicles on display were a couple of jeeps, a humvee and a mounted gun car. The museum has a nice military theme library with books covering all American military conflicts. The presentation could be greatly improved with a little more curatorial attention. Nevertheless the Museum of Military History is worth a stop if you are into the subject. Allow at least one hour to see the collection.
