-A free-flying bird aviary with a lush mangrove tunnel, flowing waters of native fish, energetic river otters, and imposing alligators are under the Aquarium’s iconic glass dome.

-The awe-inspiring 500,000-gallon panoramic Coral Reef Gallery is home to impressive sharks, giant stingrays, endangered sea turtles, toothy barracudas, and various fish species.

Admission ticket sales help educate visiting students, provide world-class care to animal ambassadors, rehabilitate rescued sea turtles, and advance scientific research to save the Florida coral reef tract. As a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Aquarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums for maintaining high standards in animal welfare, veterinary care, conservation and education among other requirements.

The Florida Aquarium is located in the heart of Downtown Tampa in the Channel District. There are several parking options within walking distance to the Aquarium. Please visit FLaquarium.org to review additional parking options.

Discover species ambassadors from Florida and around the world. • Walk through a free-flying bird aviary with a mangrove tunnel, native fish, river otters, and alligators in the Wetlands of Florida habitat. • See sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, Goliath grouper, and more in the 500,000-gallon panoramic Coral Reef Gallery. • Get in and on the water! Jump into SeaTREK, a guided underwater walking tour for non-divers ages 10+, and set sail in Tampa Bay on the Wild Dolphin Cruise.* The Aquarium is in downtown Tampa on the free streetcar route and between 2 cruise ship terminals. Plus, easily access the Riverwalk, historic Ybor City, Sparkman Wharf, restaurants, and more! The Florida Aquarium is a non-profit organization committed to saving marine wildlife. Admission supports animal care, education initiatives, animal rescue, & the advancement of coral restoration efforts.

Up close and beautiful fish, and wildlife. The aquarium takes about 1 hour and a half to go through and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very easy to get in very reasonable to get my Handicap Scooter it was a little crowded with all of the children there because we picked a week during spring vacation for schoolers but otherwise had a good time the food is very good there

This is one of the best aquariums in the United States and an entertaining and educational experience for all ages. Allow a couple of hours to see everything and enjoy a lunch at the aquariums’s Cafe Ray. If you’re visiting between November and mid April, take the time to drive down to Apollo Beach and visit The Florida Aquarium’s conservation center where you can see seas turtles that have been rescued and are being rehabilitated for release. Admission to the conservation center, which is part of the manatee viewing area, is free.
