I was very surprised to learn how long Americans have been using RV's of all shapes and sizes. I am sad that some of the cool ancient designs no longer appear today. I had no idea how much California impacted the RV scene, but it makes a lot of sense. The center is clean and easy to navigate. Full of RV's. I was disappointed at the quality of the lighting and how plain the information cards were on each exhibit. They need to improve their document layout skills. Enlarge the print, add some headings and bullet points. Add some pictures of people using these RV's in the day. The introduction video in the theater is ancient and super lame. PROS * Easy parking * Clean and easy to navigate * Lots of fascinating, unique, exhibits CONS * Lame information cards * Inadequate lighting * Terrible intro video

The entire museum was fascinating! We loved it. The early RVs had interesting features especially the wood stoves. What a history of development!

If road markings were better I would give an outstanding review - GPS took me onto the toll road and back again - effort needed to get there but enjoyed the RV museum.
