One of my favorite places to go with my one and two-year-old. We try to go at least once a week. It is not only a great learning experience, but helps to get out all the wiggles ☺️

Great educational exhibits for learning about wildlife and eco systems in Virginia. The exhibits are well laid out showing the different areas of Virginia. Cafeteria is closed. There is a dinosaur exhibit with mechanical dinosaurs that emit grows. Younger children may be scared of this exhibit. I would recommend purchasing tickets online usung the "Skip the Line". They sent you an e-mail with bar codes for your tickets which they just scan in a separate window. Not much of a line compared to the one where people are just purchasing tickets. Also to limit people they have you oickma time slot for arrival.
