What To Expect

Boulder City

Start your tour with pick-up from select hotels on Las Vegas Blvd. Heading east, you'll arrive at historic Boulder City, a town built originally to house the workers of the Hoover Dam. This is where it all started! Discover the history of this quaint little town on the outskirts of Las Vegas!

Hemenway Park

You will make a short stop at Hemenway Park, well known for where Desert Big Horn Sheep hang out!

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

You'll stop at Lake Mead Lookout for an amazing panoramic view of Lake Mead and learn about the history of the lake and its present troubles and other interesting facts.

Hoover Dam Bypass

Next, you'll make a stop at the Hoover Dam bypass Bridge (Mike O’Callagham - Pat Tillmam Bridge) where you have the opportunity to walk up to the bridge, almost a 1000ft above the Dam. Here, you'll enjoy an incredible view of the Dam and Colorado River. Your tour guide will tell you interesting facts and how the the Hoover Dam was constructed. This is a view not to be missed!

Hoover Dam

Enjoy a drive over the top of the Hoover Dam. You'll make stops at various points for more info and photo ops of the dam and Lake Mead. After this mini Hoover Dam tour, you'll return to the Las Vegas Strip.

Seven Magic Mountains

Upgrade your Hoover Dam tour to include a stop at the Ugo Rondinone art installation in the middle of the Mojave Desert. These colorful stacked rocks make for the most instagrammable moments in Las Vegas!

I loved the scenic stops and photo ops, plus the knowledge of our guide Chris was fantastic! If you’re looking for a quick, half day trip, this is the one. I’d give yourself time to get to the pick up spot, though - the tour leaves right on schedule! Pay attention to the departure times, the website said 8:00am but the text updates said 7:30am, and we left at 7:30am. Overall, a great trip!!

This was an excellent mini tour of Hoover Dam. We did the small group because we were celebrating a relative's birthday and our tour guide "Dam" Pam, lol, was outstanding! First off, Pam was so pleasant in making sure everyone was comfortable prior to the tour starting. She was so knowledgeable and really gave us so much history about the Dam workers, Boulder City, Hemenway Park and the desert sheep, Lake Mead and the squirrels, Hoover Dam, and the strip as we passed by some of the hotels. I would highly recommend it. By the end of the tour you will be "Dam" Experts as we were, lol.

Hoover Dam. Great tour guide. He was amazing, was considerate, had water. I felt awful not to tip him, i had no cash ( yikes). Take the trip, we’ll worth it
