What To Expect

Boulder City

Start your tour with pick-up from select hotels on Las Vegas Blvd. Heading east, you'll arrive at historic Boulder City, a town built originally to house the workers of the Hoover Dam. This is where it all started! Discover the history of this quaint little town on the outskirts of Las Vegas!

Hemenway Park

You will make a short stop at Hemenway Park, well known for where Desert Big Horn Sheep hang out!

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

You'll stop at Lake Mead Lookout for an amazing panoramic view of Lake Mead and learn about the history of the lake and its present troubles and other interesting facts.

Hoover Dam Bypass

Next, you'll make a stop at the Hoover Dam bypass Bridge (Mike O’Callagham - Pat Tillmam Bridge) where you have the opportunity to walk up to the bridge, almost a 1000ft above the Dam. Here, you'll enjoy an incredible view of the Dam and Colorado River. Your tour guide will tell you interesting facts and how the the Hoover Dam was constructed. This is a view not to be missed!

Hoover Dam

Enjoy a drive over the top of the Hoover Dam. You'll make stops at various points for more info and photo ops of the dam and Lake Mead. After this mini Hoover Dam tour, you'll return to the Las Vegas Strip.

Seven Magic Mountains

Upgrade your Hoover Dam tour to include a stop at the Ugo Rondinone art installation in the middle of the Mojave Desert. These colorful stacked rocks make for the most instagrammable moments in Las Vegas!

Horrible trip to the Hover dam because we never actually stopped at the Dam. Our guide was 20 minutes late picking us up and then 25 minutes into the trip we made a stop at a convenience store for ten minutes with no explanation why we are stopping. We finally get to the dam look down at it from the bridge. We then cross the dam, go up the other side and stop at yet another store. At no time did we stop at any of the lookouts, walk on the dam, or stop at the visitor center. The driver tells us we are late, can't stop at the dam and drives us back to Las Vegas and then shamelessly begs for tips for his grandchildren. A complete waste of time and money.

Hello Anne, I’m sorry about how you feel about your trip .. I will be reaching out to you today. No where in our tour description does it say we stop and park and walk on the Dam. I also apologize for your Van being late , sometimes the strip can back up fue to construction or events … all our vans have GPS and when we know there is a problem, we contact guests and give them a pick up time update. Also I will look into the stops to the stores and see why he stopped there .. We are a 3 hour mini tour .. if we parked and walked on the Dam it would no longer be a 3 hour tour .. it would be a 4-5 hour tour . Approximately 30,000 people a year book our tour because it is only 3 hours and they don’t want to waste a whole day … they just want to experience the Dam and get back to the Strip.. just as the tour description states.
