Overview

On this four-hour walking tour, you'll visit four different breweries. You'll begin with a Brewing 101 lesson, where you'll go behind the scenes to learn the art and science of the craft. Then a guided beer tasting at every stop will give you the opportunity to sample the breweries' signature beers and seasonal selections. You'll also have time to order a pint or a bite to eat at each location before we move to the next brewery. And as you walk from one brewery to the next, you'll hear about the fascinating history of Chattanooga and its landmarks.

Your guide is a 40-year resident of Chattanooga and the co-founder of ChattaBrew Tour, a bus tour of the city's breweries. She has traveled to more than 100 countries on all seven continents, tasting beers at every stop along the way. Her co-host has been part of Chattanooga's beer scene for nearly 20 years. A devout beer lover, he spends his free time touring breweries across the country and learning more about the art and science of beer.

The host was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I enjoyed checking out the local breweries and finding really unique beers. Since we get a small beer of our choice for free, I always chose something I normally wouldn’t order and I found some that I absolutely loved. The brewmasters were at each bar and it was fun to be able to ask them questions and put a face to the beer! Overall a wonderful time!

Was somewhat disappointed that we actually only got to tour one brewery, All the other stops were just going inside the bar and getting a free half pint then sitting for 40 minutes waiting to go the the next brewery. Had i known this was all we were going to do i probably would have saved the tour fee and just visited the breweries at separate times , had an good beer and a meal. i don't want to leave a bad review but i do think the actual tour was somewhat misleading. i really wanted to see the brewing process and all that stuff that goes with making beer. Oh well, maybe Covid-19 had some bearing on the tour.

Thank you for your feedback! COVID-19 has been challenging for us and extremely difficult for our brewery partners. Current county health regulations prevent us from doing many of our regular behind-the-scenes activities, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.
