Overview
If private and secluded in small group settings is your idea of enjoying your experience, then look no further. Our groups are no more than 10. We provide a homey authentic Alaskan experience while you enjoy the aurora in the comfort of our viewing lodge with all amenities.

We have opened up our cedar log home for your viewing pleasure so that your experience is comfortable.

Located in the Interior of Alaska in Delta Junction. We offer our guests big dark skies away from the crowds and light pollution of Fairbanks to enjoy their viewing experience.

We offer transportation on some of our tour options where we take the hassle of driving on the dark Alaskan winter roads out of the equation so that you can enjoy yourself in comfort and without worry.

Let us show you Alaska under the dark skies as you witness the aurora.

Why it doesn't happen often, we have the ability to go mobile if the weather deteriorates, we want you to see the lights!

It was a magical experience. Michael is an incredible host and photographer! Heā€™s got the most beautiful cabin overlooking a vast land to offer you great panaromic views of the northern lights. He has a lot of valuable knowledge about the Aurora and to top it all off, Iā€™ve never seen such an experienced and well prepared guide and host! Definitely booking another tour with Michael if Iā€™m back in Fairbanks again. Best part is that he does not have a minimum person policy so itā€™s very convenient if youā€™re a solo traveler.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience with us! We don't think because you're traveling alone that you should be subject to missing out on a night of the northern lights. We don't have that booking minimum like the other companies because that's why you're here, and we want to help make it happen! Look forward to seeing you again on your next visit! Take Care!

We were on a self transported tour. Meaning you followed The your driver. He drove so fast we couldnā€™t keep up in the Pitch black darkness. we lost our GPS signal at one point & he was nowhere to be found. We eventually regain signal and I could find his location. It was very stressful. We drove two hours to his location, at that point we had only a half a tank of gas. Not aware of any gas stations near us..we had to turn around so that we could make it back to the hotel before running out of gas.

Sorry you felt as though the tour didnā€™t live up to your expectations. The self transportation tour means you drive yourself, not follow the guide as people are on their own time and schedule. I had reached out to you guys earlier in the day and offered to have you guys hop in and not worry about driving of which you chose not to take me up on as we would be putting miles on chasing the lights that night, to essentially take the worry away from you guys driving on roads youā€™re not familiar with. I was driving 5-10pmph below the speed limit as you guys got caught behind slower traffic and Iā€™m sure driving on our roads in the dark was nerve racking to folks who think they can take on Alaska. You had the address for the reason we got separated on the road to where were going. Again thatā€™s why I suggested you ride with me earlier in the day when we spoke. Your car would of made it just fine back to Delta where you drove past 2 gas stations right off the main strip before returning to Fairbanks you literally canā€™t miss them. I would not have you follow me to a place your car would not return from. Iā€™m sorry but Iā€™m not in the business of leaving people stranded out on the Alaskan roads, however I am in the business of helping folks see the aurora and had you guys kept going the 30-35 miles past where you turned around at you wouldā€™ve enjoyed the lights as we did and use the lens for your camera I was going to let you use at no charge because you didnā€™t have one. I tried calling you guys and texting to check on you throughout the drive but having your phone notifications on silent made it difficult for me to reach you. So again Iā€™m sorry that you guys didnā€™t take me up on my offer of taking the worry and stress out of your experience so you could have a worry free time.
