Great all day trip. Our guide Katie was very knowledgeable. Wouldn't have been able to navigate through the park and had the experience we had without her.i

This tour was perfect for the entire family. We had an 8 year old with us, as well as my late 60s parents who have some mobility issues. The pace was right for everyone, and the variety of stops and activities were well planned and interesting. Katie, the tour guide, was amazing. She knew so much about the plants and history of the area. It's a long day, but it is well worth every minute and every penny!

I was the only one on the trip that day, but anyway Katie came pick me and guided me through the following warm and fantastic 12 hours. Feel like being upgraded to an amazing private tour!
It seems to me that Katie knows any hidden things on this island. Let alone the legends, histories and her wide knowledge about lives here. The Kona city is charming and neat, and coffee farm tour was informative and interesting. The best part was still the black sand beach and volcanoes park. I know some other tours do not involve the Punalu'u beach, but stepping on the famous black sand beach is something you won't wanna miss! At the volcanoes park, we also went down hill to the seashore where the black lava buries everything. I couldn't even find a word to describe how astonished I felt when I was standing there. At Halemaumau Crater, we wait till it got completely dark so I can better spot the glowing lava lake.
During that 12 hours, I saw a lot, experienced a lot, and also learned a lot. Thank you Katie for the wonderful trip!

BTW, Katie is also a good photographer who helped take me many good photos!
