Being from North Dakota and in January hit a perfect day to kayak to the mangroves. It’s about a 4 1/2 mile ride but the clear kayaks give you a great view of what’s beneath. Had a great guide named Justin that knew the area and was really fun to be with. We had a perfect day but you do kayak a distance so pretty sure I’ll be sore tomorrow. Going through the mangrove tunnels was the highlight. Would recommend this to anyone and ask for Justin although from other reviews you cant go wrong with the owner.

I went with my sister, it was my first time, and it was more fun than I expected, the water is very clear and you can see dolphins around the area, Kristen and Sebastian were our guides and they were really sweet and funny, I highly recommend to go on this experience if you go to St. Pete’s beach!!

The clear kayaks were so much fun. The area they take you is very shallow so you can see the bottom through the kayak the whole time. We did the evening tour and had a great experience being able to see the area in day light, during sunset, and in the dark with lights in our kayaks. Very relaxed pace. Kristen and Justin were great tour guides and even better company. The whole group enjoyed the trip. Luckily we got to see a few dolphins when we stopped at Shell key.
