The people traveling with me were hesitant about this tour because of the long drive. When our vacation was over, everyone agreed it was the best day of our trip. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and while it was indeed a long day, it was well worth it. I do not believe anyone could - on their own - have seen and done all of the things we did in that one day. It was totally worth getting up at 3:30 am to see this majestic national park!

"Snow-shoe Dan" picked us up on time and in a late model 24 seat short bus. Do to Covid precautions our group was limited to 11 guest and our Tour guide/Driver Dan. Masks and hand sanitizer was provided and the mask requirement was enforced on the bus. On our many stops you could re gmove the mask as long as you "socially distanced" from other. I was able to take pictures of my wife all day with out her mask. Dan has been guiding guest through Yosemite since the early 90's so he really knows the spots and history of this great national park. He knows the park rangers by first name and they know him. I learned so much from him during the day. We saw Glacier Point, Half Dome, Bridal Veil Falls, etc. We also had a neat picnic lunch at Yosemite Falls which included a huge sandwich, chips, cookie, banana, and water. We stopped for dinner outside the park but the location has a wonderful gift shop full of Yosemite souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour and it was a tremendous value for the very full day. Remember to tip. your guide for his expertise and knowledge. It was wonderful to sit back and let someone else do the driving, make lunch and provide expert commentary.

My wife and I took the October 24, 2019 tour of Yosemite. We had a wonderful experience from our early-morning pick up in Lake Tahoe to our return that night. Our guide, Snowshoe John did a thorough job of describing the day's itinerary and then followed through by smoothly moving us from sight to sight, in and around Yosemite. His narration provided detailed history and descriptions of what we were seeing and he supplemented that with videos (displayed on monitors inside the tour coach) that showed the same sights at different times of the year and from the perspective of historians and park service employees. If you are visiting Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend this tour of Yosemite!
