Small Group Florida Keys Eco Tour by Boat

Overview
Tour the Florida Bay looking for dolphins and manatees while listening to an overview of the Florida Keys ecosystem.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience! We also have a cooler stocked with ice, so feel free to bring any other snacks or drinks.

I believe our captains name was Bob and as we were the only passengers on board we had a personal tour of the Everglades and waters - inside the Everglades was a tour of the extensive mangroves and Bob's explanation of the different types and their functions in the eco system was enlightening - the weather was good and on the tour we saw nurse sharks ,manatees , egrets, and took a tour own the canal that connected the Atlantic Ocean from the Gulf dugout of solid limestone ( formerly coral that had died and solidified over centuries )

The captain went above and beyond to make sure we saw manatees despite it being a bit off season! Super knowledgeable and friendly.

Didnā€™t get to see much due to the animals were ā€œstill asleepā€ but the captain was nice and knowledgeable

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the wildlife weren't out and about on your trip. We do try to let people know that nothing is guaranteed in nature on our trips, but the captain definitely tries their hardest to find some for you. We do hope you will come back the next time you are in Key Largo and try to find some more wildlife with us again!
